Play Group to Kindergarten

A child’s first year at school, the formative years are full of joys and discovery. This is where a child begins to acquire a sense of individual identity and to recognize the importance of immediate surroundings. Learning about appropriate behavior or how to interact and share with others, is all part of their discovery process.

We have Montessori Method, activity based learning and learning through play techniques where simple yet enjoyable activities and play scenarios introduce children to the basics of essential life skills, such as sharing, problem solving, respect for religion and negotiation as they take their first step towards becoming independent and creative learners.

Early years Education is based upon seven developmental areas that focus on the skills, knowledge and experience appropriate for young children as they learn and develop.

1. Communication and language.
2. Literacy.
3. Mathematical Development.
4. Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
5. Knowledge and Understanding of the word.
6. Creative Development.
7. Physical Development.

Although they are defined as seven separate areas for learning and development, they are all seamlessly interlinked and independent for a child’s social, emotional and physical growth.
